We are familiar with Glentoran supporting families throughout the years, but the Farleys from Ballyhalbert are now unique.
First Team Coach Mark Ferguson has left the Club. Fergie joined Glentoran in September 2023 and we thank him for his contribution over the past season. During his time at the Bet McLean Oval Fergie has been a popular figure among players, staff and volunteers, we wish him well in his future endeavours.
We are pleased to announce that 2024/25 Season Tickets will be available from Monday 20th May 2024 for supporters to purchase via our ticket page from Monday next (20th May).
This season supporters will have 2 options:
Congratulations to Casey Smyth who has been selected for the Northern Ireland Under 17 squad to face England and Morocco in international challenge matches next week. The games will be a Tri-Nations Tournament at St George’s Park, The FA’s National Training Centre in Staffordshire.
This is great recognition for Casey, who made his first team debut for Glentoran in September of last season v Crusaders at Seaview in the County Antrim Shield before spending the latter half of the season on loan to Dundela in the Playr-Fit Championship.
The free scoring Glens commenced their quest for this year’s Toal’s Women’s County Antrim Cup with this heavy away win over NIWFA Championship side Comber Rec this evening. No fewer than 11 Glens players hit the scoresheet.
Kim Turner used this evening’s game to give first team debuts to young players Lily Jeffrey, Rhianna Brady, Kirsten Farley, with Clodagh Maguire, Sophie McKnight, Beth Donnan and Amy Majury on the subs bench.

In a great week for Glentoran Academy squads, congratulations to our Under 14 team on winning the NIBFA Cup!
The Young Glens Glentoran U14s defeated Larne 2-0 in the decider for the prestigious trophy through second half goals from Corey McBride and Noah Doak.
The team for the final was: Joshua Vaiulumuli, Daniel Patterson, Damian Sitnicki, Jamie McCreery, Eoin Harden, Adam Nelson (captain), Rory Prenter, Jacob Patterson, Mason Ayre, Cillian Murray, Jay Forsythe Subs Cameron Hayes, Enzo Bosket, Noah Doak, Riley McCormick, Corey McBride. Well done to all of them!
The club announces that the following players have been released at the expiry of their contracts.
Seanan Clucas and Rhys Marshall have left the club as at this stage of their career they wish to return to part time football. Our ethos as a club is to push forward on an improved full time model.
A reminder that the GFC1882 Limited Annual General Meeting will take place at the Oval on Monday 13th May at 7pm. Doors will be open from 6.15pm.

Congratulations to the Glentoran Academy Under 16 squad who have won NIFL Academy League U16 league title for 2023-24.
The boys won the title with 2 games to go with one game to play are 3 points ahead of Linfield who have concluded their 30 games.
